Since my early childhood dogs have been an important part of my life. My first dog was a black Poodle, I was 7 years old and I was the happiest child in the world when I got her.
I became more seriously involved in the dog world when my husband and I started showing and breeding in the early nineties. We became very active also serving in different dog clubs so dogs quickly became our main hobby and occupied almost all our spare time.

FRANCESCO COCHETTI

I was born year 1963 in Rome, Italy, in a “dog family”, my father was a judge and bred together with mother Poodles with the prefix “Della Perla Grigia”.Occupation: general manager. I became a judge in year 1992. My first breed was Poodles. I am listed in Italian Kennel Club (ENCI) a specialist in the breeds I have bred, Poodles and Chihuahuas.  I am also a teacher of these breeds to new judges. I am currently the president of the Rome Kennel Club, and have been a committee member of Club Cani Compagnia and the president of the Chihuahua Club (under Club Cani Compagnia).Being a judge is not an easy task. People love you and speak good about you if they win, otherwise for them you don't understand anything. It's really rare to find objective people. Of course you can do mistakes but the principal thing is to be honest. I think it's the main point for to be a judge, of course one must have a good eye to dogs too. My affix “Di San Gimignano” was recognized by the Italian Kennel Club in the end of 80's. San Gimignano is a beautiful medieval town in Toscana. At that time I bred Poodles, the lines came from England, from Tiopepi Kennel. I began to breed and show Chihuahuas year 1996 after marrying a Chihuahua breeder Tuula Lehtinen-Cochetti (Misty Meadow’s Chihuahuas). I have won many Championship titles with my Chihuahuas including World Winners 2000 and 2001.

LISBETH MACH – CH

I have lived with dogs since my childhood. Our family has always had some miniature schnauzers for catching mice and rats in our thoroughbred horses stabel. A brown miniature poodle came into my life in 1961 and became my first International champion, that is how i went interested in dog shows. Before my wedding in 1968 we were joined by a borsoi »Orlow's Kafkas« and he also won the title of a International Champion. I have bred more than 65 Int. Ch., 25 World Ch., many Best in show winners and group winners, all under my kennel name Superstar. Aslo to me mentioned the first Swiss bred American Champion Superstar's Bolero handled by Denisis McCoin. At present my fourth barsoi, Int. Ch. Sirhan Puskhin Antonovitch from Canada lives together with three miniatures poodles.
Fascinated by the show athmosphere, i decided to go into judging. In 1969 I passed the examination by the Swiss Kennel Club and received my licence as a poodle judge. I continued my training and shortly afterwards I was allwed to judge other lovely breeds. I suppose that the excellent quality of the poodles which I myself have bred and handled for many years in Europe helped me to obtain confidence as a judge.
For the last 20 years I have ha dan oppurtunity to judge at the most important shows in Europe and ther part of the world. After 30 years of judging I am still full of motivation when I stand in the ring. I love and enjoy seeing all these wonderful dogs and it is very exciting to compare the difference in quality between countries or even continents.
